As specialists in the field of orthodontics, Drs. Robert and James Kubo are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to their patients. The second generation of orthodontists in their family, they are committed to continuing the work started by their father, Dr. Sumio Kubo, in 1949.

Fondly known by their patients as “Dr. Bob” and “Dr. Jim”, Robert and James have completed an advanced program of education. Both attended California State University, Fresno, and completed the four-year dental program at the UCLA, School of Dentistry. They each completed two additional years of advanced specialty orthodontic training at the University of California, San Francisco.

Orthodontic Treatment Approach

Dr. Bob and Dr. Jim enjoy being able to provide a high level of service in a very personal way. Their goal is to always make the time to treat people as individuals, with customer service being a top priority. Unlike many single-doctor practices, Dr. Bob and Dr. Jim are involved in every aspect of patient care. In addition to taking all of their own impressions and diagnostic models, they see their patients at each and every visit. Having two doctors makes it possible to get to know patients and parents on a personal level. Most importantly, they are always available to answer your questions and keep you updated on treatment progress.
