We have established five guidelines to help make the insurance process easier for you. Please feel free to ask any questions concerning your insurance.
We are happy to work with you and your insurance company to receive the maximum benefit possible under your policy. To assist us both in this endeavor, we have established the following guidelines to help make this process easier. Please keep in mind that even though we are happy to submit claims on your behalf, our primary financial relationship is with our patients, not their insurance company. It is ultimately your responsibility to be in contact with your insurance company if any problems arise.
Guidelines to help make the process easier:
- Know what your benefits are before treatment begins. If you are not sure, contact your insurance company so that you know exactly how much you can expect them to pay, and when to expect payment.
- We are happy to complete and sign the insurance form describing the orthodontic problems, required treatment, and financial arrangements agreed upon.
- We will submit this form to your insurance carrier for reimbursement of your orthodontic fees.
- In accordance with our financial agreement, each monthly payment will be the combined effort of both you and your insurance company. Once your insurance limit has been met, monthly payments become your sole responsibility.
- Although insurance may be an element of your financial arrangements, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for all charges incurred in our office.
We recognize that understanding your insurance can be difficult. If you have any questions concerning your insurance, please feel free to ask. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us provide the best and most efficient treatment for our patients.
